Deutsche Machcha policies

Terms of Use

The rules that apply to accounts, classes, bookings, learning materials, and use of this website.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

These Terms of Use are a practical guide to what you can expect from Deutsche Machcha and what we ask from learners and families in return. They apply when you use deutschemachcha.com, create an account, request a consultation, enrol in a course, or attend an online session.

Understanding our role

Deutsche Machcha is an independent German-language education service for learners in India. We provide language teaching, examination preparation, and general educational guidance about studying, vocational training, and working in Germany. We are not a German government body, embassy, visa authority, examination board, employer, university, or placement agency.

Learners under 18 and parent involvement

You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement to purchase or use paid services. If a learner is under 18, a parent or lawful guardian must approve the learner's account, enrolment, payment, and participation and is responsible for supervising the learner's use of the service.

Keeping your account secure

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity through your account unless you promptly report unauthorised use. You may not share an account in a way that bypasses enrolment limits, impersonate another person, or attempt to access teacher or administrator functions without permission.

What you can expect from classes

Course descriptions, levels, schedules, batch sizes, teachers, live-session counts, and fees are shown on the website or confirmed before enrolment. We may make reasonable teaching changes, including replacing a teacher, adjusting lesson order, or rescheduling a class, when needed to maintain delivery. If a material change affects an enrolled learner, we will communicate it through the available contact details.

Classes may be provided through Jitsi Meet, Google Meet, or another meeting service identified in the booking or session page. You are responsible for a compatible device, stable internet connection, and a suitable environment for participation.

Enrolment and payment

Submitting an enquiry does not reserve a seat. Enrolment is confirmed only when we expressly confirm the course, batch, fees, payment schedule, and any applicable enrolment conditions. The price and payment instructions communicated for that enrolment form part of these terms.

The website does not currently process card or bank payments directly. Do not send money to a personal account or payment address that has not been confirmed through an official Deutsche Machcha communication. Contact teach@deutschemachcha.com if payment instructions appear suspicious.

If a class changes or you need to cancel

The cancellation, rescheduling, and refund conditions for a paid course or private session will be provided in writing before payment or enrolment and form part of the agreement for that service. Review them before paying.

If Deutsche Machcha cancels a paid service and cannot offer a reasonable replacement or rescheduled delivery, we will refund the amount paid for the undelivered portion. Learner-requested cancellations and missed classes are handled under the written conditions supplied for that course or session and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these terms removes a non-waivable consumer right.

Creating a respectful classroom

Join classes on time and participate respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, deliberate disruption, unauthorised recording, sharing meeting links, cheating, or distributing another person's private information is prohibited. We may remove a participant from a session or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect learners, teachers, or the service. For a learner under 18, we may contact the parent or guardian about attendance or conduct.

Recordings and learner work

Do not record a class, teacher, or learner without prior written permission and the consent required by law. If Deutsche Machcha proposes to record a session, learners will be informed of the purpose and any available alternative. Work, documents, photographs, or personal information submitted by learners remain subject to the Privacy Policy and may be used only for teaching, feedback, administration, or another agreed purpose.

Using course materials

The website, course structure, original lessons, worksheets, graphics, videos, and teaching materials are owned by Deutsche Machcha or used with permission. Enrolment gives you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use supplied material for your own learning. You may not sell, publish, copy in bulk, upload, translate for distribution, or use the material to provide a competing course without written permission.

Official documents, third-party resources, examination names, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Using the website fairly

You may not damage or interfere with the website; probe or bypass security; scrape content at scale; introduce malicious code; use automated tools to create accounts or submit forms; misuse meeting rooms; or use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.

What learning can and cannot promise

Learning progress depends on attendance, practice, prior knowledge, assessment performance, and many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee fluency, a particular examination score, admission, an Ausbildung contract, employment, a visa, residence status, or migration outcome. The Education Disclaimer forms part of these terms.

Other platforms and official websites

The website may link to meeting platforms, examination bodies, employers, official German portals, or other external services. Their terms and privacy rules apply separately. We are not responsible for an external service's availability, decisions, or content, although we welcome reports of a broken or misleading link.

If technology interrupts a class

We aim to keep the website and scheduled services available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, internet failures, security incidents, provider outages, illness, force majeure, or events beyond reasonable control may affect delivery. We will take reasonable steps to restore or reschedule affected services.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for delivering agreed educational services with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, Deutsche Machcha is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, decisions made solely on general website information, third-party platform failure, or an authority's, employer's, or examination body's independent decision. Any contractual limitation does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Closing an account or ending access

You may stop using the website at any time and may request account closure. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breach, non-payment under agreed terms, security risk, abuse, or unlawful conduct. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Payment and refund consequences remain governed by the applicable enrolment conditions and law.

How we use personal information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By providing information, you confirm that it is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it, including information about a learner under 18.

If something goes wrong

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact us first so that a concern can be resolved promptly. Nothing in these terms restricts access to a consumer commission, court, regulator, or other forum that has jurisdiction under applicable law.

When these terms change

We may revise these terms when the service or law changes. The revised terms apply from the date shown on this page. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will not retrospectively remove rights already agreed or granted by law.
